John Bunyan's: The Holy War

When faith and pardon meet together, judgment and execution depart from the heart!
This was such a amazing statement that made such a impression for me. I always thought of myself as a optimistic person who cares for everyone and forgives others trespass’s as they have forgiven mine. It seems so easy to agree with a statement like Mr. Bunyan’s, when your not being tested.

There has been so many changes in our lives this year. Financial, Spiritual, Business, Emotions, Family and Friendships. Just when we think everything has settled down, another upset or victory enters the day.

Yesterday, I needed to go to the grocery store to get some snacks together for a group of friends that were coming to our house. I started as usual to the left moving toward the back of the store. I came to a refrigerated case that was too busy to move my cart in, so I parked it to the side and went to the case, pulled several packages and then dumped them in my cart and continued down the next isle. Half way down the isle, I heard a English man saying “stop thief, stop thief, you’re a thief, you’re a thief”. I stopped and looked for the thief, to find him pointing at ME!
Thank God, he was smiling, I had stolen his cart!!!

What do we do when we are unjustly accused? When people are pointing at us laughing? When friends become acquaintances, or our teenagers challenge us? What do you do when your job is not what you expected, your savings account is shrinking instead of growing? When your relationship with your maker seems distant?

We need to have “Faith”:
“A secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God's will.”

We need to “Pardon”:
“Excuse or forgive for a fault, offense, or discourtesy.”

We need not “Judge”,
“To form an estimate or evaluation of; especially : to form a negative opinion about.”

We are not to perform the “Execution”,
“To perform a destructive action.”

Wow, easier said than done! When were right the world is right, right? I was very embarrassed by my English shopping accuser, but thank God, I had enough positive in me to laugh and move on. I hope and pray that we all can move forward together in peace and work in harmony, that said I know that feelings will be hurt. Challenges will be in front of us, people will point and laugh at times, but with Faith and Pardon, our days will be a blessing to all.
